The contribution from buying a Hemlock Goods Bandana:

Hemlock bandanas were made to be beautiful, yes, but they're also tough. They can hold your hair back, carry an outfit, pick up spills, and store your beloved treasures and favorite snacks. The possibilities are endless with these hardwearing, artfully designed handkerchiefs. And with a Hemlock bandana in your possession, your possibilities are endless too.

Each bandana is screen printed by hand and made with 100% cotton

Half the population deserves half the representation.

We stand up for the unheard voices in our communities, and we believe that it's in our local community where we can be most impactful.

The organizations we support align with the values of promoting leadership, education, conversation, and relationship building. Check out a few of these organizations below.

The Bold Academy BOLD, Black and Brown Opportunities, Leadership and Development, is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit youth empowerment and mentoring organization created in an effort to support, nurture, and enhance the leadership skills of Black and Brown girls in Columbia. The mission of BOLD is to empower and uplift Black and Brown Girls through enrichment opportunities, leadership training, education, and positive identity development. BOLD began with a small coalition of women who shared a similar vision: To create a strong social and professional network for young Black and Brown girls in the city of Columbia so that they could not only reach their potential, but have support and guidance from strategic partners along the way.

Race Matters, Friends:  Race Matters, Friends (RMF) confronts Columbia’s history of racial inequities by practicing courage and collaborating with trusted partners to build transformative policies that dismantle disparities in all local institutions and organizations. RMF’s equity work includes focusing on race, class, LGBTQIA+, disability, religion, and other marginalized groups, ethnicities, and cultural groups.

Inclusive Impact Institute:  Inclusive Impact Institute is committed to creating diverse and inclusive communities. Their curriculum reflects this commitment, as well as the diverse backgrounds and cultures of their instructors and participants alike.

They offer an unmatched variety of events, experiences, and programs, created for individuals or groups of all ages and academic levels.

She Should Run:  She Should Run is a nonpartisan nonprofit working to dramatically increase the number of women considering a run for public office. She Should Run helps every woman understand the importance of being equally represented in office, gives her the opportunity to see herself there, demonstrates that she is qualified, and provides the pathways for her to take the first step.
